Sorry to hear that you are having these issues... For what it's worth, I now write all my posts in Pages (the mac equivalent to Word) and then copy + paste them into the steemit post form. That way if a post disappears into the ether (which has only ever happened once to me) - I won't have any problem. I can just post it again.
