Honestly, I don't know about that. But I definitely believe you should give it a test run. - Just make sure that you don't spend several hours on each article, as most of them will be overlooked. - That's a huge problem actually. That quality content doesn't get decent rewards, but there's also so much content being published so it's literally impossible to reward everyone. - That said, don't spend 3-4-5 hours for starters at least. If you do that, you'll most likely end up miserable.

A better approach would be to publish shorter articles or articles you don't spend several hours on. - That way, you'll also be able to publish more articles per day, and that will increase your exposure in general. :)
