I'm pretty sure it's easier to manipulate the market for SBD than Steem directly. I'm not too sure how they're doing it without costing them a lot of money in the process. It normally takes a huge amount of capital to push prices that much higher. Anyway, It's a great opportunity to pick up super cheap Steem with SBD.
