<h2>What happened?</h2>

I have some unfortunate news to share with all of you.  Steemitworldmap won't be able to add new posts to [the map](https://steemitworldmap.com) for, most likely, a few days. The good news is that all posts that will have added the tag in their post during this period, will be added to the map once the issue is resolved.

The back-end of, like some of you may know, was created by @blueorgy.  Somehow he has been unreachable by me, and it seems anyone else for that matter, for over a month now. I have no clue as to what's going on, or if he's even alive at all. One thing I do know is that his server seemingly was shut down.

If I had access to his code, this would not be such a big deal. I could've transferred this code to a server of my own, but I do not have access to his code. I have send him multiple messages over the last weeks asking what's going on and if he could send me the code. All of them went unanswered.

So here we are, and the Python script, that takes the posts containing the Steemitworldmap tag and adds them to the Steemitworldmap database, is no longer up and running. As I have limited experience with coding these kind of scripts, I'm currently talking to some developers who might be able to do it in a relatively short time frame.

This means that those programmers will be spending a lot of hours on the project, on well, double work, and no sane person would do that without getting rewarded. So if you like this service and want to see it up as soon as possible.  Please consider supporting the cause.

- Preferably in Python
- Script needs to add data from posts containing Steemitworldmap tag to JSON file continuously until post is older than 7 days.
- Script needs to leave an automated comment with the Steemitworldmap post link and  Steemitworldmap author link.
