So the vote value is the value of the votes in $ only for the liquid part of the vote. Is that right?

The vote values are based on the field 'total_payout_value' against each comment and are expressed in SBDs before the payout is split into SBD and SP, so it's the total value of the payout in SBD. However, I just learned that 'total_payout_value' is only the portion of the payout that goes to the author, there is another value that goes to the curators - so in actuality all of the payout figures on Steem Ocean are too low - the curator part is missing! I will look at how best to present that.

I just put the fix in for this issue I have identified.. the data will now be reindexed and the correct figures should be visible a while after that - in around 11 hours!

sure ok - i'll put that in the next update. the data has now been reindexed and so you can now see the total payouts as was originally intended. i've also now marked downvotes in red in the list of votes for each voter which is the first step in making downvote data more accessible :)
