Imagine if Steem was 10x the price it is today (which is not even that much: $1.7). In my case the 6 cent vote (this is not always the case though because of divergent curve, but let's assume it is for the sake of argument) would be 60 cents, so having about 10 full votes in a day, I would be distributing $6 a day. That makes $42 in a week and $‭2,184‬ a year. About half of that you'll get as curation. Not that insignificant anymore, is it? Remember that the amount of Steem you're vote is worth, is the same whether Steem is worth $0.17 or $1.7.

Not sure what you should do with your accounts, but I just prefer a single one for posting.
