Lakers fans should be very encouraged by this season. However, not so sure about Pistons fans. Imo Griffin trade was uncalled for and not worth it. Tobias Harris is very underrated. I think they did this trade only to fill their new arena in downtown Detroit and they needed an exciting star player to bring the fans to watch the games. They should have been at least contesting playoff spot with the roster they have(had) and it is a disappointing season in my opinion. Also Griffin has been injury prone for years now and yoi never know when he could get injured again. Jeff van Gundy's chair might be endangerd this summer cause he is both head coach and general manager so hr has full control over the roster. Should be a good game anyway cause both teams play witout any pressure.

Totally possible they just wanted him to bring in a star with the new arena. Executives get pressured by owners to do that kinda shit because it comes down to ticket sales for them. I liked what Tobias Harris could do too I think the jury was still out on him. We will see what happens with Jeff, they might take away his GM position and keep him as head coach, or they might just kick him to the curb completely hahaha. Pistons have been floundering for quite a few years now.
