<html> <p><strong> I am sure most of you are going to put their first guess on ‘’those teachers are friendly’’. </strong></p> <p> But ask yourself, is that really what makes a teacher popular among his/her students? In my short life time I changed schools a few times. So I have met a few more teachers than others have. </p> <p> I did not like all of those teachers. </p> <p> In my earlier study life I had teacher who was very nice but also strict when he needs to be. I liked this teacher and respected him. But I didn’t love him. He was a good teacher but not the friendly kind of teacher about whom you like to talk about when you get back home. As a teacher I think he fulfilled his goal. He was supposed to make his students better and he did. So he earned his students’ respect. But that’s all he got. For some teachers that’s enough. </p> <p> There was another teacher alongside him who was literally the name of fear for all the students. You can guess why. Sometimes I questioned myself why is he always so rude with us? Does he not like us? Does he hate children? But that couldn’t be it. What kind of people hates children. He was one of those teachers whom I never liked. Clearly everybody showed him respect out of fear not from their heart. What would you say? Did he fail as a teacher? </p> <p> I have always been the smallest person in the class as well as in the whole school. I had a teacher in sixth grade whom I think I actually loved. He was a great teacher and a great person. Because of being small he used to call me ‘’Lilliput’’(the small characters from gaulivers travels). I don’t remember being afraid in his class. Because I and everybody knew that the class was going to be amazing. This kind of teachers they get both love and respect from their students. I would say he was a success as a teacher. </p> <p>There are three other teachers that I like from 9th grade. These teachers were great person. Alongside them there were some teachers who were totally faul. I know I shouldn’t be saying that. But it’s not my fault. I think everybody in the school hated them. Hate is a strong word, I would use it anyway. Because I heard with my own ears what other students think about them. Clearly they were not teachers who care about students. Those three teachers did hard work on us and we did kept the respect of their work. They still treat us as their children. Every time we arrange a reunion in that school those teachers look so happy. </p> <p>Finally I am going to say a few words about a teacher that I currently have. I didn’t mention any other teachers’ name but I have to mention his. He likes to call himself K. Hasan. Let’s keep the full name hidden. I like this teacher so much because he truly understands his students. I have never felt bored with his class once in these three years. He keeps the whole class so interesting that we feel like his class should have a little bit more time than usual 45 minutes. I don’t think anyone else feels that for other teachers. When he discusses his topic it feels like he is telling us a very important story which is fun. Whenever I get bored in a class I start to doodle in my note one of which I shared before. I don’t remember doodling in his class. Because I was busy listening to what he has to say. </p> <p>His personality is so great. You can understand that when I tell you a story. In one of his class he was asking question and we were answering, individually. One of the students said, ‘’sir could you please ask your questions to particular persons?’’ He said no. He said that he wouldn’t do that. Because he thinks that is not right. There are many teachers who likes to embarrass the students by asking questions only to those who don’t raise their hands. This is really insane. The teacher first says that raise your hands whoever know the answers, and then he asks the question to someone who didn’t raise his hand? How is that fair? This is the thing that makes a teacher looks like a monster. I love this thing about this teacher who understand students and tries to make a friendly relation staying in the boundaries. Way too much close relation might not be good for any of them(students and teachers). </p> <p><strong>So that was my thoughts on teachers and their teaching technique.</strong> If there is anything that you think isn’t right you should share. <strong>There are a lot of teachers who wants to be a good teacher but always forget to put themselves in their students’ shoes.</strong> </p> </html>

I believe it is about the soul and how much love do they have to what they do. I am myself a teacher and during my 20 years of work I have never had any problems with my students or kids. I always show them my respect and they know my rules. I believe that showing the kindness and interesting in them is the most important than being funny as a clown. My students and kids always love the way to know who is who and how I tread them. That is only my opinion and the way how I always find the contact and positive relations with them. I still have contact with my pupils and it let me feel delightful and fulfilled as a teacher. :) Great post thank you :)))

Nice post @masummim50. Thanks for sharing it. I remember one of my math teacher in my childhood days. He use to present the subject in such a manner that every student use to like it. I still remember him and have great respect for him.
