What intrigues me about these "new" stores is the lack of product information. Is buying a B grade chemical product better if it's in your own recycled glass jar? How do you KNOW that chocolate is fair trade and where exactly is all that information displayed. The few zero-waste stores opened up here in Thailand don't sadly display that information well and are selling bulk at the expense of quality.

Yeah we question everything, but here the labels are quite clear and if not we can ask the owners who are very good. Not at this store in particular but the one closer to me. Still gotta pick and choose even your 'ethical' stores. All down to who owns them. My de facto daughter in law luckily does all the meticulous research for me!
