Lets peek out from behind the curtains and into the world of "regular" people. Yep, regular people, who buy flamethrowers.
Remember the stunt when Musk promised to create and [sell flamethrowers](https://steemit.com/news/@furious-one/last-chance-to-obtain-a-flamethrower) when his Boring Company hats sold out? Of course you do. Well, just a few days ago, on June 9th they started shipping out:

Unfortunately for vigilantes, protective homeowners and other fire enthusiasts, the flamethrowers sold out in 4 days. If you wanted to mount one on your wall across your front door, or perhaps if you wanted to have a spectacular barbeque party with your buddies, you were out of luck.
Not any more.
As the flamethrowers reached their new owners, it became instantly apparent, that many of them didn't care about the novelty factor and merely bought them for the resale value. After all - it's limited stuff.
So if you're a late buyer, you're going to have to cough up a bit more than the original $500. Ebay has already listing of people selling their flamethrowers for roughly $3000 USD with manuals going for $250. But it shouldn't be a problem for you lot, because you're all cryptorich, right?

Make haste, though, as people are unfortunately finding their flamethrowers [delisted](https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/Boring-company-Flamethrower/qaq-p/28065283) on Ebay, as they violate their Terms of Service. While ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) doesn't consider this flamethrower a weapon, Ebay does. So people are trying to circumvebt that by renaming the flamethrowers "Not-A-Flamethrower". After all, what else is it, other than a glorified lighter for your grill? Matches are for sissies.

When the aftermarket picks up, it's time for Mr. Musk to move on and pick a new utility slash novelty to create and draw attention. Personally, i'm looking for cheap personal helicopters, than can enable me to beat traffic and get up 15 minutes later (wait! I don't go to work early in the mornings. But i still want it).
