Many of my very good friends from college are gay or trans and I absolutely adore them for the beautiful people that they are. Frankly, their sexual orientation or how they identify was never part of the equation. And besides - LOL - I wasn't their type. hahaha. So yeah, I will guard the bathroom door but ***dammit*** I shouldn't have to!

Exactly! To most people under 30 someone else's sexual orientation/gender identity is a non-issue, instead just focusing on the actual person. Meeting an a**hole hippy really made labels fly out the window. You're support is sooo appreciated and I'm sure you friends have loved you for it! Someday the rational people will prevail and just let people pee in peace, freeing you up from your post at the bathroom door. lol
