Let's look at the points you just made:
* It took me almost two weeks to finish this blog
* Sometimes I go overboard with my story
* Trying to fit everything that happened

....one day (not today), it is *ONLY* this type of work that will be recognized and paid well.

People use to ask me long ago "@intelliguy, how do you get paid so well for your posts"

I'd ask them... how long did it take to write your post?

* 10 minutes was the answer.

I'd explain that first I had to wait for a special reason to write something important. Then it took me 2 to 4 hours to find and edit photos... and even then I would have re-write and self-edit my  post multiple times.

People would freak out and go crazy.   2 HOURS to write a post??  4 HOURS?

Yes.... it would.... if you do it right and careful enough.  That is the only way to distance yourself away from fast-finger-typers who put up a post in 10 mins and wait for hundreds or thousands of dollars to come in...

The other people would say "well, I did that. I spent 4 hours on a post, and I made $1.25"  that's not even worth that much time...

To which I'd respond... not worth that much time to who? You? Your wallet?

@purepinay please keep doing what you do... don't look at the $ value on the post of whether or not you are doing it right. You are doing it 100% correct.  Keep it up.

As steem gets bigger, wiser, and more mature, it is bloggers like you that are going to keep doing well...
