# A place in Brisbane, you definitely have to visit! - Ein Ort in Brisbane, an dem du auf jeden Fall gewesen sein musst! <h1>
*It's been a long time since I've published my last article here on Steemit. Therefore I wanna say sorry first! But now I have decided, to post some of my articles in English and German, cause I think some of my topics are also quite interesting for English speaking Community*.

Es ist lange her, dass ich meinen letzten Post hier auf Steemit veröffentlicht habe. Dafür möchte ich mich erstmal entschuldigen. Außerdem habe ich mich entschieden einige Posts, unter anderem diesen her auch auf English zu veröffentlichen.</center>
*But now, let's get to the point! In my next posts, I am going to show you my favourite 5 places in Brisbane City. I've been in Australia for around 10 weeks and got to know some amazing places in and around Brisbane. I've spend most of my time in Brisbane.This post I gonna start with a place called SouthBank.*

Jetzt aber zum Wesentlichen: In dieser Reihe von Posts möchte ich euch einmal meine persönlichen TOP 5 Orte in Brisbane City vorstellen. Ich habe dort, im Osten Australiens, knapp 2 Monate gelebt und kenne viele schöne Plätze. Heute beginne ich mit dem Ort: SouthBank.
*This place is a Must-See! Everybody who has ever been in Brisbane City, knows SouthBank. Basically its a big park area on the other side of the Brisbane River, on the opposite of Brisbane CBD. You can go there by walking over the main bridge, which is connecting both Parts of City. Or you can decide to go there by one of the free ferries on Brisbane River. These are driving really frequently through the River. The free ferries are called: CityHoppers.*
*SouthBank is an amazing, green park and relaxing area. There is a lot of green lawns to lay down, some public BBQ areas, a never ending promenade along the Brisbane River, a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops, and a lot of other attractions. Street artists need a special licence to be allowed, performing their show on SouthBank. The City only wants amazing artists at this place!*
*In addition, there is some pools for little children, to play in the water and also a beach build into this area. If you lay down on one of the loungers, you start feeling, you are in paradise. Moreover there is the “Wheel of Brisbane”. Basically it's similar to the London Eye in London. Its there for same reason and a lot of people love this attraction. Especially in nighttime you have an amazing view over the whole city of Brisbane... and do not forget to take a look at the bridge, its changing colours in nighttime.*

Dieser erste Ort ist ein wirkliches Muss! Jeder, der einmal in Brisbane City war, kennt SouthBank. Kurz gesagt handelt es sich um ein riesiges Areal auf der anderen Seite des Flusses, gegenüber des Brisbane CBDs. Man kann entweder über die Brücke dort hin gelangen oder man benutzt einer der zahlreichen, kostenlosen Fähren, den sog. CityHoppers.
Es handelt sich um ein riesigen Park mit jeder Menge Grünflächen, Grillplätzen, einer endlosen Promenade am Brisbane River entlang, jeder Menge Geschäfte und einer Vielzahl Attraktionen. Straßenkünstler brauchen hier eine spezielle Lizenz um ihre Kunststücke zu vollführen. Außerdem gibt es hier mehrere Pools zum schwimmen sowie einen künstlich angelegten Strand. Wenn man sich auf einer der zahlreichen Liegen legt, kommt man sich vor wie im Paradies.
Weiterhin gibt es das sog. „Wheel of Brisbane“. Es erinnert ziemlich an das London Eye und soll auch den selben Zweck erfüllen. Es ist eines der Wahrzeichen von SouthBank. Speziell in der Nacht hat man einen wunderschönen Blick. Auch auf die hell erleuchtete und Farben wechselnde Brücke sollte man achten.
