How to give credit to the owner on your blog that you used photos or videos that you don't own

### Greetings Steemians, ,
Today I would like to share to you how to give proper credit to the owner if you are using others photos, videos, gif etc. Here on Steemit we can write what we want and add some photos or videos but you must give credit to those owners. Steem Cleaners are always around and for sure you don't want to waste your rewards so you must apply giving credits to the owner on your blog if you are using others photo or video.

**I will give some examples how to give credit to the owner of photo and video:**

As you can see I used the photo from [Pixabay](https://pixabay.com) and underneath I put the website link for Pixabay to give credit. Pixabay has a tons of high quality of images and most of my blogs.. I'm using photo from them.

But I put the link of Pixabay user too I think that is the proper way to give credit because she's the original owner of that photo from Pixabay.

When you choose the photo and you clicked it you will see the username below the photos then click it. You will see another page it's a user page on Pixabay then you will see the link above. That's the link of the image owner that I used.

Now I would like to show you other sample to give credit to the owner for videos..

Most of us if we are using others video we get from Youtube but this is only example...

### **To give credit to video owner:**

Under the video you will find the channel name of the video. Click it and it will show the page of the channel and the above of it is the link of the video owner or channel link.

**Hyperlink is a reference of data that reader can see by tapping or clicking.**

to do hyperlinks you must type this :

Inside of two brackets put the word you want to be visible or display such as : click here , the name of the website, etc. and add the link inside of parenthesis and that will be invisible.

I truly Agree with you on Giving credit where it's Due but I do not agree on taking Youtube Videos and Giving Only Credits. 

We are Monetising someone else's content so we should stay Clear of Copyright Infringements and Youtube Videos falls under such section.

So if you do not own the Video it's better to not Upload that in Steemit.

That's my Opinion.
