As a driver, I prefer Lyft because it pays more per ride. But Uber will give you more rides. Lyft also gives more bonuses, but I sometimes need to turn Uber off to get those. Otherwise, I just run both simultaneously. There's an app called Mystro that will auto-accept ride requests and turn the apps on and off for you.
