Ilazra, you cannot begin to imagine just how proud and honored I am to have played such a small but meaningful role in helping some of the most beautiful, hard-working, talented, and honest people of Venezuela support themselves and their families in such difficult times.
If for no other reason than to continue supporting all of the wonderful Venezuelan people I’ve come to know and love here – I hope and pray that Steemit, Steem, and this special place many of us consider “home” lives on forever, and gets stronger and stronger with each passing day.
This world of ours is unfortunately riddled with deception, greed, malevolence, and evil of every stripe. All too often, it is difficult for the majority of people to truly understand how such atrocities manifest – until it is too late. Even then, the true reasons, the true cause of such pain and suffering often eludes us.
Amidst all of this chaos exists the vast majority of everyday people - most of whom are good-hearted, kind, hard-working, and honest. We are in the majority yet we are all somehow subject to the dictates of far less honest men and women than ourselves. Such is the never-ending struggle with state and corporate powers of influence and corruption.
The more we learn the truth, the more we tell the truth, the closer we become to being at peace with ourselves and our neighbors near and far.

Ilazra, no puedes imaginarte lo orgulloso y honrado que estoy de haber desempeñado un papel tan pequeño pero significativo al ayudar a algunas de las personas más bellas, trabajadoras, talentosas y honestas de Venezuela a ayudarse a sí mismas y a sus familias en tan difícil veces.
Si no por otra razón que seguir apoyando a todos los maravillosos venezolanos que he llegado a conocer y amar aquí, espero y rezo para que Steemit, Steem y este lugar especial que muchos de nosotros consideramos "hogar" viva para siempre, y se vuelve más y más fuerte con cada día que pasa.
Desafortunadamente, este mundo nuestro está plagado de engaños, codicia, malevolencia y maldad de todo tipo. Con demasiada frecuencia, es difícil para la mayoría de las personas comprender verdaderamente cómo se manifiestan tales atrocidades, hasta que sea demasiado tarde. Incluso entonces, las verdaderas razones, la verdadera causa de tal dolor y sufrimiento a menudo nos eluden.
En medio de todo este caos, existe la gran mayoría de la gente común, la mayoría de los cuales son de buen corazón, amables, trabajadores y honestos. Somos la mayoría, pero todos estamos de alguna manera sujetos a los dictados de hombres y mujeres mucho menos honestos que nosotros. Tal es la lucha interminable con los poderes de influencia y corrupción estatales y corporativos.
Cuanto más aprendemos la verdad, cuanto más decimos la verdad, más nos acercamos a estar en paz con nosotros mismos y con nuestros vecinos cercanos y lejanos.
