We are so frozen in as well. It has not been this cold in my memory here and to see our bay out into the open ocean frozen is amazing. I mean it's the sea! There have been some boats anchored out all night in the entrance to the Canal to keep the ice broken up so ships can still get through. It really is an amazing and frigid start to a new Year. Happy New Year too by the way!

We can see them with our bincoulars, so not sure I have a camera that would do it justice. But the amount of frozen around here is amazing. We haven't left the house and only ventured in the yard as far as my veg garden where the quail live, for a week now! I'm a hermit by nature but even I am starting to want to venture out further, some on warm weather!
