***What an amazingly kind thing for you to do.***

You see, if I may take a moment more of your time, I need to tell you this.

That man in Sri Lanka - his name was @sandunfernando, let me elaborate a bit on what that story really means now to me. 

*As in right now in this moment, please.*

You see, I had come to steemit with the usual newcomer knowledge - none at all. I learned of it's existence 8 days prior and after registering and waiting and opening a ticket to steemit support and getting no response, 3 days later I got in, on June 12th of this year.

I joined the platform one afternoon 121 days ago.

I first encountered you, and giving and the miracle of this platform just 5 days later.

This story with Sandunferdando begins in the comments of [this post](https://steemit.com/help/@sandunfernando/requiring-your-help-to-build-a-new-tube-wel-for-drinking-water): June 17th, and it was my last full day as a "free agent" before I found PAL/MSP and Aggroed and company the next day on the 18th and began a trajectory that would bring us back together this week, in a far different place now, 

1187 natural, wholesomely and happily earned followers with zero requests for any of them and 4194 posts later, as well as hundreds of dollars given away along the way to mission oriented deserving recipients across the globe for things like food and their own local outreach and service efforts in their community, it all began with your example, and that well and that family, only the two of us sought to help.

I had no idea who you were, you didn't even notice I existed. But it became a memorable moment for me as I found my way here and learned who the more esteemed and historic steemians were and why.

Rising to leadership in PAL, and co-founding then building MSP Waves into the powerhouse it's becoming, single handedly at first then assembling a top shelf team that still operates it today -- even after my recent resignation from PAL last week to pursue my new worldwide service organization YOUAREHOPE which I told you about just two days ago, I never did expect you to notice I existed.

And now this.

I am grateful. Sincerely, for bookending my first 121 days on the platform.  And for giving me a story to remember for a lifetime.
