I am glad to see you still posting and trying to absorb what has happened. I too am trying to absorb what has happened. From everything I have read, and that has been a lot, it seems this person was has a problem with votes. You are on several curation trails evidently, (hence lost of votes, few views). He does think those people should be spending votes on you. His attempt at not only redistributing wealth, (a common communistic activity), he also wants to tell people who they are allowed to vote for,(by demonetizing your post), he is hoping they will remove you from their vote trails. Just the way I see it, and I hope you have a nice upcoming weekend.

You could well be right in your theory. I keep saying this, but I'll say it once more. The money is nice but the feedback and interaction is better. This is the best blogging site I've been on for feedback. It's the best site for monetising too. It also has the biggest potential for abuse - even more than Goodreads and that turned into a real bitchfest - so much so that people no longer go there to read and interact. Authors are warned, **Don't go there, they slate you, abuse you and sometimes stalk you. Just put your links up, announce your new book and then disappear. DO NOT READ THE REVIEWS!** I do hope Steemit doesn't get to that stage.

I went to Goodreads once. I read a few reviews and then decided that they were mostly bitching reviews, no honest review of I liked this book because.... reviews. At least on Amazon, I could see if the person had even brought the book when they left a review. Non buyer reviews were taken with a grain of salt.

I helped run an independent book review site and we had a rule. If the book was *bad*... I mean, *unreadable* bad, either because of editing or simply wasn't a good story, then we wrote to the author to give genuine, constructive criticism. No book under 3 stars were put on the site because - well... 50 shades started out as a critical news story and everyone went out to see why it was so bad... and voila! Now EL James is teaching writing classes.
