...a winner. But for whom did she win? Herself? Yes, just rewards for life given to a dream. The greater winners however were the women who competed, for she drove them to run their greatest race. And you and I? We wept for joy, for she showed us the potential of every one of us. You might wonder... a talking dog? Indeed, not only are humans enhanced in 2040 but so too are our pets. Especially dogs. Cats? Not so much. Enhancement just made them more...catty! Horses? Yes, they could speak now. Problem. Everyone stared naming their horses "Mr. Ed." Not my horse though. My horse prefers "Shadowfax."
