Parasite 2. Pen drawing

Scabies, parasite, ticks. I'm stuck on critters lately. I started this drawing a few days ago, and I'm upset at how long it took me.

Upset might be a strong word, but for some reason I think I'm really slowing down. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know what's going on... but I'm still enjoying moving the pen around, so I guess that's the most important thing.

Detail of the signature and scratchy background. Can also see some eraser debris in there. Not intentional.

The background took the most amount of time as usual. Also both of the eyes took a while to do.
