I want to forget everything and run away from this place. This place has witnessed how I was treated unjustly because of my innocence. Everyone in this place took advantage of my innocence and brought me only misery and broken dreams.

I was too foolish to believe that someone would care about me and how I feel. I fell into the belief that I finally found my tribe, that I finally met the people whom I can call family. I got carried away into the feeling of belongingness, so I never did suspect anyone to fake anything.

They were so good at deceiving people that I fell right into it. I never imagined that something like this would happen to me. What did I do to deserve all this? Is it because I'm too ambitious that I wanted to have what I want?

Just like how the sun goes down, I want to fade. I want to sleep soundly and escape this world. I wasn't prepared to face all this misery. I thought that I wouldn't have to stay alone in sadness, but I was wrong. It was a mistake to let my guard down.

I shouldn't have easily trusted someone. It was the first time I felt happiness and the first time that I felt betrayed. And I can't stop but laugh at my misery. I'm not even pretty sure whether I'm sad or I'm already going crazy because there are tears. I was stupid.

Will I seek revenge? I don't know, and I don't want to have that in mind. No matter how painful it is, and how miserable they left me, I want to stay as the person I am. I don't want to change into someone like them just because they have hurt me.

I will never be like them. But I would want to grow stronger so that no one can ever do that to me again. And these scars will be my anchor and drive to change for the better. I will make sure that I will be wiser.
