Hi @akarantain, I love your artwork. It was so beautiful until I have to screw it up and down few times to appreciate it. Your mermaid witch was so beautiful and l love the color you have applied as well. It very bright and attract readers attention. 

I love the way you explained how you completed your artwork especially some tips on how color. 

>The magic powders are made with the technique where I sharpen my crayons and blur with my finger, the colors used were pink, fuchsia and orange, and leaving some sides in white to give that illusion

Now l learnt how to mix the color by using crayon. The results of the magic powder was wonderful. And the mixtures of the color also very nice. 

How long you have involved in art? You have a very good technique on art drawing and i learnt a lot from you. Thank you.

You did a fantastic job here!  It's funny how the final drawing changes for me once I know every step you took.  So much work!  The pink/purple on the body as an outline/reflection, I didn't even notice it until you explained that step.

Honestly you just made me realize how intricate this can be and how so much more work goes into a drawing like this than one would originally think.  I'm not much of a drawer but I really appreciate the skill it takes to do it.

I like how the contest incorporated Halloween. You pulled it off perfectly. I couldn't help but imagining the cat trying to bite the mermaid LOL ( cats & fish?). Very good illustration, you are a detailed one.

In our country some people have seen a mermaid.
My uncle told me he had already eaten a mermaid when he was still a teenager and he was also dunk at that time.
I don't know if that was true.

Pretty amazing art work for nowhwre. At my first glance it look like a picture taken from camera but as i move downward then pretty surprised with all the effort pour into it.
My 11 years old drawing queen is very interested in drawing too and she is awe looking at this master piece. How long did it took youbto complete ?? Looking at the beauti ness i belive complete whole day for it.....loved it...steem on👍

I really liked that you used many images for the process. This way you can observe the complexity of your work, and it's impressive. It has a very high level of detail, and you have handled it properly. My favorite part was the magic powders, the way you used the color gave the finish a really charming touch. The black background makes the colors shine a lot. It is a great composition, it deserved to be rewarded. Congratulations. Greetings.

Beautiful mermaid and I love how you applied those orange and pink colors.

Her hair is so pretty. All color scheme is cheerful and makes me smile :) I can't imagine a better place for a mermaid than moon :) This is a cool idea! And I love how you surrounded her with stars. 

That pumpkin is cute and look at that little mermaid seal :) Adorable!

Hello @akarantain very good choice siren ... very caribbean motive. 

I call something the attention of your publication. and is that in a few words you tell as a script the scene you drew, it is uncommon to find that in today's draftsmen, in fact many of the great painters wrote a script of the painting they would do, and in some cases had notes of color mixtures, positions of figures, gestures all. just as a musical score but applied to painting. 

great choice the black background so that the other colors are absorbed by the background, I love the looseness of the hair and the pearly tonality of the tail of the mermaid, seeing the image I can feel the sound of the stars the fecto of magic, really impressive.

I like the way you applied color to your line art. Never been daring enough to do that to my line arts. I'd use 2 colored gel pens but that's it. Good job on rendering the anatomy, it's in proportion. 

How you rendered the colors and form of the tail fins are cool too. I do recommend the mermaid facing a little bit towards the camera (side view) just to add a little more appeal as one part of her eye can be revealed and those are parts where people would usually look at when viewing characters from a drawing.
