According to CoinATMRadar, the current number of cryptocurrency ATMs in the United States is 4025, cementing its leading position on the global market. Even number two on the list of countries has less then one quarter of this amount, in Canada one can only find 716 locations where fiat currency can be exchanged for one or more cryptocurrencies with the help of a machine.

The UK is number three with 286 ATMs, Austria follows with 195. Number four on the list, Spain already falls under 100, there are 84 locations in the Western European country. Argentina, number 28 is the last to have more then 10 ATMs with 11 machines, every following country has less, Israel 5, most on the rest of the list have between 1 and 3, France for example has 3.

The author of this article is proud to say, that his home country, Hungary takes the elegant position of number 19, with 21 locations.

Getting back to the US, it's no surprise that major cities take the lead, Los Angeles has 428 locations, Chicago 268, New York 85, but there are smaller municipalities who have proven their hunger for innovation, Charlotte, NC, a city with 630 478 residents hosts 80 crypto ATMs.
