It will not happen. Most people have some idea of how to eat healthy, but prefer to indulge themselves. With all our foods being poisoned now with chemicals and as GMO's, most people just give up and think they might as well eat whatever they want.

I am mostly a healthy eater and avoid all commercially made foods, only very rarely using them, so I understand what you are saying.

Sometimes it is not just the diet - for instance, the daughter of Professor Jordan is on a carnivore diet. From 3 years old she could not walk because of pain. By 14y she had already had a hip and ankle replacement.

She gave up on doctors helping her and experimented. Finally she discovered if she only eats meat, she is pain-free; if she eats even one potato or tomato or some lettuce or an olive, she is soon in pain again.

So, personality and other factors can lead us into becoming diabetic. For instance, I had a friend, he has died, who had to have a number of operations (amputations of toes etc) because of diabetes, but he would give in and buy pastries and binge on them...and tell me it is not worth living without all he enjoys.

I cannot argue with his belief, but I try to control how often I eat what I know is not good for me, but I do eat them now and then...giving, I tell myself, my body the time it needs to get rid of the poison.
