Hello fellow "Homo Sapiens" :P

So currently I'm reading a very interesting book named ***"Sapiens : A Brief History of Humankind" by Yuval Noah Harari.*** Here I came to know the meaning of "Homo Sapiens" is  "Wise Man". Just sharing something I found interesting. While there's no way I can explain how good the book is for someone interested in human history. If you are that someone, give it a read. Coming back to the topic of the blog : art. 

**The story behind this one goes like this. So I'm a design student and in one of our classes, we were studying colors and what do they signify. That's something very interesting for me and to be honest that's where I feel like I lag behind. I always find myself buying and picking out things in black, grays, blues and whites. Mostly. I feel they are the safer options than choosing others. They are basically my go-to colors. But that really comes in my way when I'm trying to design something funky let's say. So this year I'm trying to break that habit and to do so, I've restricted myself from buying anything of these colors. And to be honest, I'm really liking and enjoying doing so. Kinda like expanding my horizons :P**

So the first color that we studied about was blue. And I was really blown away with what I learned there and wanted to know my feelings and my sense of how I see this color specifically. After getting home I thought of panting something abstract with blues.  And here it is. I wouldn't say it's all pretty or anything but it was a fun experiment and I would definitely suggest people to try colors and observe what they feel. It's a good way to know yourself better. 

**For me I connect blue as my go-to color. I find it easy to work with and definitely love to use it. My art is heavily dominated by it, I would say. I also connect it with vastness and calm because with this color, ocean and sky comes to mind.**

I've recently noticed that I love to photograph my artwork with natural light coming through the window creating a shadow on the artwork :P

**I love photographing my art in different ways. Sometimes trying compositions with vintage things or with some lights etc. I would love some suggestions/ideas for experimenting.**

Also, I know I'm here after almost two months. I've been busy with my semester juries but in the meantime I've also realized how I love to share my stories along with the art as simple as they may be.  And more importantly, exchanging ideas and thoughts. So do share your thoughts :)
