# SALES OR NO SALES YOU'VE GOT TO BE OUT THERE
Good morning guys, this is @bait002 the founder of the offline minnow school where minnows are mentored and groomed. Today will be about doing the salesman job. Steemit is a sales job and to make it here you got to put that sales man had on.

Here’s what I mean. Most of us get so frustrated by what steemit brings sometimes. This is because, instead of coins, all we got to mine is emptiness. We try our best writing good stuffs for an audience out there and no one seems to appreciate it. Yet, we go on to the trending page and see so many posts that for most of us are quite undeserving make so much dollars. I read a post of @adsactly yesterday and I saw my mind on someone else’s blog. Steemit is meant to succeed, but the attitude of steemians who are big enough to make this change. No one is saying anything and everyone keeps doing what they deem fit.

When an ecosystem goes this way, those who lay at the bottom of the food-chain suffer it. Those I am referring to happen to be minnows, you and I. I like to identify with this group because, that’s how I started out. Quickly let narrow down as I paint the actual picture of this post on the background already established.

Steemit is all about attraction on the basis of the value you are capable of creating. Most of us still don’t know how to deal with these loads of little things. I would urge you to consider each blog post you make an Ad of you. You’re a sales man trying to create a good impression that will enable you build trust. You sole aim is to keep sending your stars out the various feeds and tags you never know who’s watching. Someone told me this few months ago, when I was having some challenges with growth on my blog;
>always expect that people are watching you from the very beginning.

That’s what you should expect at all times, and as you do that, you will be compelled to set your standards high. So high that you can’t even compromise. I see my blog as an Ad of me. So I carefully chose what posts I write, resteem or even upvote. I have offended some people close to me because I wouldn’t resteem their posts. Be that sales man that’s known only for identifying with quality and never compromises no matter what. Once you’re known for sales of quality, people will give up everything just to find you. It takes time though, and some tons of free writing. That’s why the most successful steemians who didn’t really invest any physical cash are great volunteers. Most of us don’t want to pay any price, don’t want to sacrifice the tiniest bit of our effort. All we do is complain and complain. Let me be the first to break to you.

When I started out, I used to expect people to like me and upvote me and visit me from time to time. Guess what? I was disappointed, big time. And what did I do? I didn’t allow it to get the total of me, I stood up and started sending my stars out there. Today I reap a little bit of the sacrifices I have made for my blog and more is going to come in no time.

Another tip is this my friend, you don’t have to be in a hurry. Be diligent and consistent, take your time because, this is not a race, neither is it a competition. We are all here to express that unique being that we are. And find a place for our voices to be heard. Ultimately, we also came here to get gifts for our gifts.

Understand these basic principles and apply them on your blog. Remember, it’s a sales job. You need some sacrifices. You have to go through it.
