 <p>Same team, same story, different day... &nbsp;It is pretty funny, I was standing in the grocery store checkout line the other day and the older couple behind @mrsbozz and I commented on the Michigan State Spartans gear we were wearing.</p><p>You see, we have a double use for our Spartans gear...</p><p>The mascot of the school district that we both work for is the Spartans. &nbsp;That doesn't mean we aren't Michigan State fans, it just means we get to get some extra use out of our team apparel.</p><p>A short time ago we got a cease and desist letter from Michigan State. &nbsp;Apparently they were afraid people would be confused by our little school district 100 miles give or take NE of East Lansing.&nbsp;</p><p>We were able to keep the Spartan mascot, we just had to change our logo. &nbsp;Thankfully we were able to quickly find one that they approved of and we have moved forward with that.</p><p>Anyway, back to the grocery store. &nbsp;The wife of the older gentleman was commenting on the fact that the game this article refers to took place quite early in the morning our time. &nbsp;She said that we should be on Maui to watch instead of in the cold Michigan weather we are experiencing.</p><p>I was at work when this game too place so I didn't get to watch it and as much as I would love to be on Maui, I don't think I would have wanted to be at this game anyway. &nbsp;</p><p><br>It baffles me, as good as Tom Izzo is, that his teams continue to have trouble with the same issues. &nbsp;Unfortunately I feel like his apology to the fans is a bit hollow. &nbsp;I am still a believer in MSU and Izzo, but this is beginning to feel like the same song and dance...</p><p>Ranked high early in the season, then turnovers and stupid mistakes bring them down to a point where they barely make it into the big dance. &nbsp;Finally, they exit the tournament in the first or second round and give their loyal fans nothing but excuses.</p><p>I understand there is a lot of youth on this team and new faces, but with the talent level and the amount of time they put into practicing and drilling, they should be better. &nbsp;No excuses Spartans, show me some results!</p>
