Even though it is Sunday now, this post is for the new and improved Photo Friday Contest at @qurator. They have new rules so more people can enter and learn what the place is all about.

These photos are also doing double duty for @kalemandra's ColorChallenge SundayPurple and so I guess you know the theme now.

All of these photos were taken by @bxlphabet, who was using a point and shoot camera for his trip to Colorado the year after high school graduation.

He visited the Colorado State Capitol Building in Denver when they were having an exhibition of quilts hanging.

And later he took a tour of the Denver Botanical Gardens to see this flower attracting a bee.

And this pretty Lotus flower was in a pool in the same gardens. This is the photo I will post in the contest entry, so this is why it is also on the top of the post.

On another day a Street Art Festival was set up near were he was staying and this imaginary creature caught his attention.

UPDATE: I am so happy and relieved to tell you that:

A bigger post describing this will be posted soon, but I want to let anyone checking on me know that the first part of the situation is solved and that at least I will not be cut off from the world without a roof over my head.
