Mayana Peak | 360 View of Negros Island

One of the beautiful place in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental is **Mayana Peak** which is in Sitio Punod, Barangay Rizal. Were you can reach using single motorcycle to this beautiful scenery. If you are a hiking and trek enthusiast you will surely love this place, a beautiful city view from the top is really worth the climb.

When you arrive at Sitio Punod, you are given the choice to walk all the way to the Mayana Peak or ride a single motorcycle ride, locally known as “habal-habal” to the peak.  The habal-habal driver approached you if you are going to Mayana Peak.The fare is Php100 when sunny days, and Php150 for rainy days, back and forth and it take about 15 to 20 minutes bumpy ride.

By the way, they have a nearby restaurant when you arrive in *Sitio Punod*. **Jilla's at the Peak** and they served delicious breakfast.

After eating our breakfast. We off to the place called **Mayana Peak** and advice to log our name in lost in  *so-called guest house*.

There is no registration fee and they provided us a tour guide which she is also our photographer. They asked us to pay for our tour guide because this is also a part of their livelihood. When the tourist or visitors come it will be their incentives as a tour guide.

Unfortunately the weather is not on our side when we arrive, it is too foggy. The tour guide said that, we need to wait for a few hour 'til the fog will clear. But, we didn't wait for it. We go home after 30 minutes of picture taking.
