I think auto-vote is good but it should be done with monitoring of content. Just for the curation reward its not fair to auto upvote anything from creators and content should be worth that vote. 
I personally don't like auto-vote and I vote only when I like th content however I know my vote value is nothing but still I am very much particular with my Vote. Thanks for nice topic.
