In this article I will discuss how the Asura World platform will forever change the eSport betting industry, and perhaps someday all gaming related betting. Gaming related betting is a huge and lucrative industry that has a very bright future according to research.

The Asura World team is working to bring blockchain technology and smart contracts into the eSport betting industry. Of course, the blockchain technology alone will already bring transparency and democracy into the world of eSport betting but to further increase democratization on their platform the Asura World team will also allow and incentivise the community members to get them involved in future betting development. The discussion in this article will revolve around the flaws in current eSport and gaming betting platforms, and how the Asura World team believes their innovative ideas combined with blockchain technology can potentially solve all such problems. 

# The Problem 
Current eSport betting organizations are far too centralized, and folks believe me that is not good at all. Due to the centralization of current eSport betting platforms the admins who are meant to oversee the bets and essentially act as middlemen can and very often do tamper with the results of bets.

I do not know the exact reason why the middlemen tamper with bets, but it is most probably just to make money. The middlemen can tamper with bets because they are all admins and the creators of the platforms trust them with the backend programming so that the admins can ensure everything goes smoothly. However, many of these admins end up abusing this trust they are provided for personal gain. 

Another problem with centralized betting platforms is that they do not really have a sense of community to them because they lack democracy. Users on traditional, centralized platforms are either not allowed to contribute to the future updates related to the betting options and even when they are allowed their contributions are not given any consideration by the admins. 
# The solution

Asura World will use ASA tokens, the official cryptocurrency of the Asura World platform to make all transactions within the platform. The ASA tokens will utilize smart contracts to enforce and ensure all transactions that are made reach their rightful owners whenever the outcome of the bet is known. Smart contracts will make the transactions seamless and remove the need for human involvement. The ASA token is also powered by the NEO blockchain, which means all transactions will be listed on a tamperproof blockchain to ensure security and transparency. The combination of smart contracts and blockchain technology allows the Asura World betting platform to not require any middlemen for overseeing bets.

The Asura World platform will also create a discussion forum on which users can discuss amongst themselves and the developers. The forums will allow users to voice their opinions and give them full involvement upon what future betting rules and options should be like. For example, a user can post a new betting option and place the respective rules that follow this new betting option and then the community can come vote upon whether they would like to see it placed in to the platform. Users who participate in the creation and curation of new betting options will be rewarded in tokens that can be converted into ASA tokens.
