You've Got to Dance With The One That Brought You - Why I Started Powering Up STEEM Again

A few months ago I got caught up the Crypto FOMO and decided to start powering down in order to diversify into other altcoins and get in all those insane profits people were making. It was a fun ride getting in and out of coins making more bitcoin just playing the markets (and losing some too).

After riding the recent Ethereum waves and cashing back out to Bitcoin I was staring at the charts wondering which altcoin looked cheap. Which project do I believe in? What am I familiar with? Where is there a lot of upside potential?

<h1><strong>The Answer is STEEM!</strong></h1>

Looking at the STEEM/BTC prices this past week. I think this is a great time to buy buy buy! So I did! I also encourage others to as well. To me STEEM is miles ahead of most of the altcoins available. It's more than just some Ethereum based idea coin it's real. I'm probably preaching to the choir but there is vaporware, you can use right now. There is real value to be reaped for holders of STEEM Power right this second, unlike many other coins. My favourite part is that you can make more STEEM by powering it up and using it!

Compared to where STEEM has already been in recent months I feel it shouldn't be a problem getting back over $2/STEEM and the current STEEM/BTC pair could easily see 100% growth.

I think STEEM is going to get a lot of attention as 2017 comes to close. We've got great projects being built on the platform like @chainbb and @busy.  Coming very soon will be the Twitter killing STEEM app @zappl and it looks like STEEM's co-founder Dan Larimer is on target for being part of the largest ICO in history with EOS.  There is a lot of hype and buzz surrounding the crypto sphere now and some of the EOS attention is bound to fall on STEEM as well.

I encourage you to join me and start powering up your STEEM. Let's get rich together!

wish i was 'liquid' enough to power up as i also see a large upside in owning and holding steem but my little side projects haven't produced as well as i'd hoped for and at this rate, by the time they actually pay off/out i will have missed the 'sweet spot' ;)

Great to see @contentjunkie!  Like you I find myself powering down and diversifying for various reasons.  Partially because of being involved in other projects and funds for traveling and exploring more of crypto.  However after a year I am finding opportunities that are going to allow me to power up and more relationships with cryptocurrencies, companies, groups, projects, and most importantly people.  And steem seems to empower people in many ways compared to not only other cryptocurrencies but also other things which we are seeing more with more tools being built to use the STEEM blockchain.  So more of my energy and time will be exploring value opportunities with people.  While working with some projects I have found ways to be given crypto value for my knowledge and whatever else I may share and give.  Along with living and working with more crypto people.  This will all allow me to power up more in STEEM and other cryptocurrencies which I believe will have more value is use and engagement much like steem.
