a good combination of verse that mixes the natural with the chemical ... hehehe, it never occurred to me to do poetry that to name fuel sounds very good.

I don't know what kind of mental state you are in @d-pend,

But I like this poem a lot.
These contain highly spiritual terms tied with physical and abstract descriptions.

For example:

> **purgatorial** cascades

> flexibility the **zealot's bane**

> **bless** the **hazy revolution**

> disillusioned factories of **bliss** dissolve

> **bow down** and suffer,
or stand at risk of **greatness**
rising forth.

> **dreams**
from a **split psyche**
sloughing off snakeskin,

The end of the poem is musical and makes me laugh and cry:

> re-encrypted destinies
that resonate
in a swaggering rhythm.

> limit-spent minstrels sing to my children
of what is lovely—
and what is cursed
in the mind of men.

Now I am left in complete obscurity. Thanks once again for making my Sunday afternoon. Please continue to screw with my brain and as long as you are at it take a huge existential cannon to my head. Greatly appreciated,

My two cents:
@d-pend's poems are all good, what I really like his poems are the images that put in every sentence, the hardest part is the images, symbols sometimes are overlapping or I'm lost in cold space because I really don't know the background of the poem, that's one. Two, his poem is like metallic poem, space, metaphysical, hard rock music,  imbued with the superficial problem of the society, men, in particular, and also infused with methaporical exaggeration to keep us awake that will make us feel how the poem is flowing inside our hypothalamus that eventually thought process it until our brains cooked up or pass/guess its reality with flying colors because his poems are the sample and the epitome of its existence in the modern society!

Perfect way to speak on the juxtaposition we are in as spiritual beings in this society.

That's good. Simple but insightful. Zealots, of one kind or another, create a lot of problems for which everyone else has to pay.
