# Menu 菜单
Usually, I'm not a big fan of studying menu. I am very bad at selecting good food from their description. I'm always got attracted by their pictures and ended up ordering something totally not what I wanted. This time, is no difference. I got attracted by the first page of the menu where they put at the menu stand right at the entrance. Those BBQ and roast stuff really makes me drooling.

Since Friday, ex-girlfriend will abstain from land ground meat, we'd choose to go with seafood. Price wise, isn't exactly economical, but we'd like to try them since those pictures are really attractive.

> 本人平时就不大会看菜单的。每次点单出来都吃不到自己喜欢的，有种被照骗带着点菜的感觉。这次也不例外。店家把菜单放在入口处的旁边方便顾客参考，我经过此地立刻被其烧腊菜单吸引住，然后不能自拔的走过去翻开了来看。由于周五旧情人都是一贯戒绝陆地上的肉类，所以我们决定看一下海鲜类的菜色。觉得价钱不算便宜，只能说还算公道的范围。看着这些五颜六色的图片，仿佛觉得肚子开始咕咕叫了，所以想都不想就冲了进去。

# Environment and services 环境和服务
The restaurant renovation looks really simple, but clean and comfortable. I have been to many restaurant with heavy chlorine smell, otherwise they're very heavy cooking smell and feels oily air. Lighting are sufficient and easy on the eyes, not too comfy to an extend of falling asleep, but enough to keep me awake and comfortably have a conversation.

There's a huge panoramic mirror on the left side on top of the bench on top of the sofa seats on the left. The mirror makes the restaurant looks wide and bright. I love the fact that they already standby condiments on the table for customer. Waiters are foreigner, but they're nice and attentive. As soon as you drink and put down the tea cup, they'll come over and fill up for you soonest possible. I'm aware some people doesn't like it, you can always inform them you wish not to be disturbed, but I'm an attention freak. I enjoyed every minute being taken care whilst I'm spending on the restaurant.

> 餐馆里面的陈设简单，不过整齐而且没有一贯的餐馆味道。灯光充足并且色温舒适。左边的靠椅上放了玻璃，让整个店子看起来更加光鲜宽坦。从图片中往前看过去是窗子。虽然这家餐馆是在一楼，但是由于这家商场键在山丘旁，所以楼下其实还有三层楼。晚上如果把窗帘打开后可以直接望过去对面山，看到王宫，夜景算是一流。辣椒油酱油随便用。服务员虽然不是本地人，但是态度相当好而且服务周到。茶喝了立刻过来替你倒。

# Passion fruit bean curd 百香果豆腐

This dish is rather interesting. The bean curd being cut into smaller pieces and fried. Texture from the outside is crunchy, but it is also soft from the inside. Soy taste is significant together, couple with gravy made of passion fruit juice. Passion fruit seed is crunchy, added that to the tofu made it taste outstandingly delicious.
> 这一道菜色相当特别。很少听到用百香果当酱汁，豆腐被切成方块然后酥炸。咬起来的口感十足，里面豆腐却柔软而且豆香味扑鼻。加上鲜甜的百香果汁，这一道豆腐烹调水准极高，说着口水都漏了出来。百香果的籽咬进嘴里啪啪响声配上若软的豆腐，一边享受着百香果的果香味实在是让人有一种说不出的快活。

# Nyonya seafood pot 娘惹海鲜煲

I have a thing with sweet sour and spicy stuff. This is what we're talking about exactly. Squid, fish meat and prawn being cooked together in curry broth. I believe they use coconut milk to make the curry broth slightly sweeten. Bundle together with those seafood are some eggplant, tomatoes and also long bean. Those who are dieting, Houston we have a problem. Those broth is really tasty and easy to go down with rice. It's not as spicy as I thought, but I guess it will fit most expatriate living around this region.
> 我自己本身就特别爱吃甜酸辣的食物。这一道娘惹咖喱煲正合我口味了。咖喱汁里面应该含有大量椰浆，令咖喱特别香浓和带甜。煲里有鱼肉，墨鱼，虾子再配上长豆，茄子和番茄，老实说减肥不吃饭的人这一刻真是抓狂了。这种酱汁就算没有肉，咖喱汁拌饭就已经可以把整个饭碗一拼吞下去了，连筷子都不留。整体来说我觉得这一道咖喱煲值得九十分了。还有十分被扣了，不够辣。不过相信是为了迎合这里附近住的老外吧。

# Lotus fried vegetables 莲藕斋菜

This dish is a normal vegetarian dish which most if not all Chinese restaurant able to cook. It's slightly salty, but I believe it will be good when pair them with white rice. I'm currently abstain from carbs, so I wouldn't wanna do all the crazy stunt and ended up regretting sugar overdose.
> 这种斋菜我相信十间饭馆九间能吃的到。还有一间没有的，应该是没有囤到莲藕。蔬菜非常鲜甜。我个人觉得厨师比较重手了一些，有点咸。不过也可能我没有吃饭的缘故，所以觉得它比较咸。如果是拌着饭吃应该就刚好了。可惜，如果不是减肥中，我也来扒一碗饭，但是又担心吃饭血糖知数飙升导致肥胖。只好忍一下了。

# Fuyong Fried Egg 芙蓉煎蛋

Fuyong is a Romanized Cantonese word, refers to lotus, flower. According to the old folks, it's called Fuyong because the recipe came from a town called Seremban in Malaysia Negeri Sembilan. In Chinese, the town named after Fuyong. Hence, it the dish named after that. But I would take a better version of the story, it was called Lotus simply because after the egg being fried in a frying pan, it somewhat looks like a lotus. It has chili flakes, prawn, pork in it. Usually they will put a huge slice of lettuce beneath to make it looks like a lotus flower floating on the pond. It's a very popular dish, adults, old folks with less chewing capabilities and even young children like it. It's egg, who doesn't?
> 老人家说，芙蓉煎蛋的由来是从芙蓉市来的，因为这一道菜色是芙蓉人想出来的。不过，我自己比较相信另一个说法，就是这一道菜色是以煎蛋为主。鸡蛋配搭这灯笼椒，辣椒，再加上萝卜丝，虾仁和叉烧被炸了以后放在盘子上面好像一朵芙蓉，所以命名芙蓉蛋。平时看到的芙蓉蛋都会有一大片生菜垫着，让蛋看起来好像一朵出水芙蓉一样。可惜，今天晚上看不到。这一道芙蓉煎蛋是男女老少都适合的菜色。旧情人由于斋戒，所以猪肉我都替她吃掉了。

# Bill 埋单

The bill came, and as expected to be slightly below 150.  We only ordered 2 plain rice, so that save a little bit. If this meal were 4 person, would really split it up and make it well worthy. Since we have only 3 person sharing the bill, each of us will have to fork out 40 bucks. Still, it's not too expansive, but adding a white rice that cost only 2 bucks and 4 person split the bill would have make it more affordable.
> 账单递到我面前来是，正如我猜测的不超过150马币。我们只点了两个白饭，所以省了一点。个人觉得，如果这一顿饭是四个人吃会比较划算。我们只有三个人，所以每个人都付40块左右。不过如果是4个人吃，多加一份饭才多两块钱，不过四个人就每人二十五块，更加值得和划算了。
