How I Took The Red Pill And Realized Everything In Our Cult(ure) Is a Lie

I had the honor of being a keynote speaker at G. Edward Griffin’s Red Pill Expo yesterday.
 
It was an honor because Mr. Griffin’s book, “<a href="http://amzn.to/2t6Pc9W">The Creature From Jekyll Island</a>” was the first book that woke me up to everything I talk about today… from the evils of government, central banks, fiat currency, fractional reserve banking, Keynesian economics and much more.
 
So, to have gone from reading his book nearly 20 years ago and carrying on a lot of his work to then end up speaking at his conference was almost a little surreal.

I experienced about the same when trying to open the eyes of my peers to the dark reality of things ... people are deeply attached to their pink sunglasses it seems. Once they're off there is no turning back...most just put up a wall and dismiss all the information as "not possible", some break apart as you mentioned but these are the ones getting involved afterwards.
It took me a e few years to a decade for some but I succeeded in waking them up or at least having them be aware something doesn't fit.

A very worthwhile half hour!

I've been off work with stress (as a consultant in a 'big 4' professional services outfit) and began researching many of the same topics you brought up in your speech.  Had my mind blown in a similar way you describe. 

Never read that book (although I'm familiar with the Fed & Jekyll stuff) but I will, on your recommendation.


Subscribed on YouTube and following in here (I've only just signed up to Steemit) and looking forward to more content.  The rabbit hole goes waaaaay deep and there are many topics that, if I bring up in conversation, I get ostracised almost immediately. Perhaps in here the herd have already been whittled...?

Summer after my freshman year in college (2006), i had a job kind of soliciting door to door donations for Clean Water Action (was later revealed to be a complete scam) someone in Bristol RI took the time to recommend The Creature from Jekyll Island as something i needed to read. So glad i took him up on the challenge. That book changed my whole feeling about paper currency.

I too read The Creature from Jekyll Island many moons ago.  Those who are aware usually say, "We need to find a way to wake up the masses."  My position is NO.  It's an almost impossible task to overcome 12-16 years of government indoctrination. Start with your immediate family first - wake up your children, open their minds. That is doable, less overwhelming, more rewarding.   If each aware person started with his children, then close family members and friends, like a ripple in a pond, it will spread.  Ideas have consequences.

Totally agree with youJeff. In my introductory post yesterday I was saying how I had my own mind opening experience when 911 happened. It was the catalyst for a complete turn around in how I viewed the world. I travelled down many a rabbit hole, coming to the conclusion that everything is upside down and backwards and based on lies and deceptions.

To me the Red Pill is the awakening realization that you can no longer believe what you have been told by authorit, but must question and investigate everything independently. My first red pill came from learning about the holes behind the 911 official story. We really can't believe anything that the media and politicians want us to, but how deep does the rabbit hole go? I question everything, but don't necessarily want to go into weird alternative beliefs for which I have no backing for. It is easy to try to fill in holes where they exist, but sometimes we just don't have answers, and we never will.

Nice video Jeff. I am one to believe like everyone here that 911 was not what they were saying it was on the MSM.  And also a lot of the things Jeff is saying  on this video. However, I was still on the fence as far as the lunar landing is concerned. But in this video Jeff makes me feel like I am behind the curve and make some good arguments. I feel like I need to educate myself more on this subject. Can anyone here refer me to any site or video that does a good job at shedding some light on this supposed government lie? Are you saying the US didnt put any satellites in the orbit either  (if not then when or arent there still any)? Or didnt they orbit the Moon and take picture from the other side? Didnt they land on the Moon and leave stuff behind? Are you saying that the bouncing a laser from the mirror on the Moon is fake also. Telescopes taking picture of the landing sites fake also? Well I guess you can dramatise everything. There is some truth to what you say but who is it that creates reality? Now you are just talking about what "they" do putting attention there and to some degree thats fine. But what is the reality that should be created and is created by some few people that have good intentions, thats worth more the time unless you actually really do something with the knoledge.

You know the moment when a wide-eyed child gleefully spots Santa Claus, only to see the child's face turn to shock as Santa takes off the beard, lights up and starts cussing on his break? 

That's how I felt watching Jeff's video and it wasn't because of some of the theories he believes in (or doesn't), but because of the glimpse of his character.  

Becoming a fan of Jeff's cryptocurrency insights, I watched the entire video despite my wife giving commentary in the background about who is this crazy taking about 911?  I don't believe in the 911 conspiracy  (or the other ones like the moon landing), however I'm willing to hear logic and evidence and the possibility of it all.  Just like I don't believe in God, but am open to the possibility.

No, what got me to unfollow Jeff was his mocking description of Stephen Hawking:"...whoever that guy is, sits in a wheelchair and they say he talks [laughs]...". Why does it matter the method in which a human communicates?  Shouldn't the content be judged, not the unconventional way someone "talks"?  

It seems a little hypocritical to mock at someone because they are different, and expect others to listen and understand their own unconventional theories.  I feel the world needs more empathy.

Could you please maybe share a little more towards how you and your wife "teach" your own children if they are also not in the whole "standard schooling system"??. Love this post. Sometimes I wonder if I am crazy because I dont buy into all these things that "educated" people buy into. I dont have a degree in anything but I have done assignments for a lot of college graduates for free and also for money so I think I am smart enough to know when things are not right. You mentioned health and Cancer came to mind. Cureable disease that will never be cured because Oncololgists won't get to charge for their chemo drugs. Drugs are like bandaids covering the real issues in our bodies.

Some 10 years ago I was undergoing a complete mind shift, un-sheeping myself from the dogmas of our society. Basically I told myself "everything you know is wrong" and accepted that, leading into a "proper" education. The catalyst for this was off course watching the movie The Matrix a countles number of times. This lead myself on that same path, crossing G. Edward Griffin's work among others. I experienced a huge wake up in the span of a few years within those kind of topics, but also health awareness. I'm suffering from psoriasis and basically read up enough to have a serious conversation with many specialist.
It's been a journey :) and at the time I could not see bitcoin for what it really is: the red pill ... glad I got into crypto since then (I remember watching some of your early videos), covering a bit of the wealth aspect of my life.
Can't wait to see what we'll find further down the rabbit hole !
