Supporting the Steem Social Media Blast Day with Tim Cliff, Promo-Steem & Oracle-D – All While Moving House!

**INTRODUCTION**

I’ve been active on the STEEM Blockchain for about 10 months now and have had an incredible experience. It seems like I learn new things every day about how it operates and the amazing potential it has.

I am totally on board with the potential that this blockchain has to change lives and play its part in the paradigm shift towards abundance. When I heard about the campaign founded by @timcliff to promote STEEM to investors, I wanted to do what I could for the campaign – even while I was moving house!

I also went on Medium and "clapped" for Tim - 50 times, no less!

After that I decided to try Quora, which I’ve used before for my EFT work, but never looked at the crypto side of it before. There is a lot there and I found I was able to use the information from @timcliff to answer many questions on there, as well as link back to the full article:

**RESULTS**

The tweet I made was top of my “Top Tweets” with 536 impressions and 15 engagements. This was due to the hashtags used, I believe.

Facebook was its usual flaccid self – seemingly being killed off by the ongoing algorithm changes.

However, I did receive a message from someone who lives near me asking questions about STEEM. We ended up meeting up for coffee and he has now joined. While not an investor, he is a musician and has loads of content, so I hope he has a great experience on DSound etc.

Quora has good potential, as the answers will remain and be seen when anyone is searching for blockchain topics. As I’ve been answering crypto questions, Quora is now alerting me every time a new one comes up, so I hopefully will have many options to continue sharing STEEM information.

**CONCLUSION & LESSONS LEARNED**

I’m glad that I took part in this. There were two main successes for me. The first was that someone joined STEEM directly as a result of my posts.

The biggest one was re-engaging with Quora and seeing the potential that it has for future marketing efforts.

It was great to be part of the energy that was built up around this campaign and I’ll gladly take part in ongoing blasts – hopefully not while moving house next time :D
