¿El Español, a punto de convertirse en el idioma más hablado en el MUNDO?

## Hola Amigos!

Según el Portal _La Revista de Babel_, el español es uno de los idiomas más hablado en el mundo. Esto porque además de España y los países latinos, también en parte de los estados unidos nuestro idioma está jugando un excelente papel en la comunicación.

Ahora se supo de una excelente noticia, y es que desde hace unos años Beijing China, está buscando convertir el Español en su segunda lengua, tal cual se había venido haciendo con el inglés, de hecho allí ya hay escuelas públicas en las que es materia obligatoria, aún más que el inglés. en Shanghai ya se lleva a cabo una campaña a nivel de metro que se llama _Con el español en tu maleta_. Por otro lado, en Filipinas también están haciendo lo propio y quieren retomar el español Esta es una espectacular noticia desde muchos puntos de vista. En el ámbito del turismo, íntimamente relacionado con la economía, tenemos que anualmente desde China salen 124 millones de turistas, de los cuales 22 millones de ellos salen dispuestos a gastar su dinero en recreación y ya son, estadísticamente hablando los que más gastan, sobre los americanos, franceses, entre otros.

En pocas palabras , el pensar es que, de esta forma los niños se harán más competitivos y con más oportunidades laborales ya que nuestro idioma se habla en más de 20 países. Este proyecto fue iniciado a nivel de secundaria, después fue llevado a nivel universitario y ahora han decidido trasladarlo a primaria.

Podemos decir entonces que, la lengua de Cervantes, ha adquirido popularidad debido a que una nueva generación no solo se interesa en una nueva cultura sino que también se hace relevante las oportunidades de trabajo que ésta les ofrece.

Lo interesante de esto es que además del potencial económico que se incrementa a raíz de este fenómeno, es que también nuestra cultura es afectada de manera positiva por que se expandirá trayendo aún más beneficios para todos.

Siempre ha habido dos interpretaciones: por un lado la cantidad de países que hablan un idioma y por otro lado la cantidad de personas que lo hablan.

Si consideramos la primera interpretación es evidente que el español es el idioma más hablado al mundo. 

Hay 20 países que tienen al idioma de Cervantes como su idioma oficial: 18 en América, 1 en Europa y 1 en Africa.

Si, en cambio, consideramos a la cantidad de personas que lo hablan es tema es un poco más complejo ya que deberíamos agregar la parte hispana de los EE. UU. y las comunidades -organizadas como tal- de origen español y/o latinoamericano que hay en el mundo.

No obstante, en este caso, el chino estándar, o mandarín en su versión más pura es hablado por cerca de 900 millones de personas. El resto, otro tanto,  son dialectos chinos. Pero aún así sería el idioma más hablado al mundo.
