How Grateful I am for NOW!! Why wait to make a New Year's Resolution of Discipline?

<h3>a more deliberate and richer experience.</h3>

<p><em>Did you ever notice that the mainstream media promotes the sequence of such a reality?</em></p>
<p><em>Just look at what's on the magazine rack before and after the holidays:</em></p>
<p><em>Before and during the festive season, the news stands are exploding with temptations to celebrate the months ending the year, including recipes for rich foods and decadent desserts, expensive fashion and consumer wares, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals to make one look and feel better.
<p><em>Then after the first of the year, the remedies come to attempt treatment for the overindulgence in food, finance, and the further disempowered state of being. &nbsp;It is well-known and somewhat dictated and expected, that the New Year is the time for change, and that discipline is the path to "succeed" in your goals and resolutions. &nbsp;</em></p>

<p><strong>Some points to ponder:</strong></p>
<h2>What is it that we find so magical about the New Year that it is determined that THAT is the time for change?</h2>
<h2>What would happen if we didn't need a last hurrah, with one last dessert, one more purchase, one last day to relax on the couch, and the need to artificially alter ourselves to be happy?</h2>
<h2>What would happen if we didn't wait until the New Year to integrate upgrades into our lives?</h2>
<h2>What would happen if we chose to implement the things that are important right NOW?</h2>
