Yes, That's Me Sorted For Tonight Then

"Nandos" is soon becoming a cultural phenomenon of London. They're popping up all over the place. Hell, I've even seen them bolted onto the sides of supermarkets. A staple brand of chicken excellence within our the UK. So, with an introduction "that" good, it stands to reason that we may want to try it out from time to time. And today, that time was now...

We've spent much of the day outside. Even though the weather wasn't all that great, it gave us a chance to relax, chat and stroll. All at once! Making plans about the future, catching up on her work related gossip, all the usual stuff. Anyhow, we managed to build up quite an appetite so on our way back and our local "Nandos" restaurant just happened to be right there! A perfect and well-timed solution for rumbling bellies.

Notice how I've got a few greens on my plate. To show that I'm at least" trying" to keep a portion of health to go with my dinner. And actually, the chicken is grilled too. So I guess that's a plus. But the fries are fried hence there's no getting past that, lol. But yeah, this is the last treat of the day  before we both prepare for another week of work and watching the crypto markets. Dunno which one is worse though, lol.

I am glad you enjoy it and was happy when they went overseas around 13 years ago. I tried to get a franchise from the owners, but would only allow me to take one above Birmingham. I was raised on this food and it is one of my favorites still. The original was from a chicken restaurant up the road from where I live in Johannesburg. There is a better restaurant here and haven't had Nandos since I found it.

We have Nando's here. Even one in the airport terminal building. 
They have a rather new competitor but I cannot remember the name of them.

The fries look not cross enough for my taste but pretty cool they serve peas.

As peas are the best...well not really but pretty good.
