What a student feels on the night before an Examination?

I can give an example from myself .

For me, the exams in high school were very important. Because we had to keep our average good. Also, it was frustrating to stay in class. The school average was important because it was effective at the university exam . If I good at the lesson, my mind would be comfortable at night. If I worked very little, I would be stressed in high dimensions. I couldn't even sleep. The stress would be higher, especially if it was a critical test.

I experienced the biggest stress in the university entrance exams. Because it was the biggest test we ever had. It thought never made him sleep. Stress and excitement were mixed up. I was a little bit asleep in the morning. When I woke up, I was stressed until I entered the examination room.

The university exams were more stressful than high school. Because our average was have greater importance. We were getting a scholarship by ranking . Also if we had a good average, we could study in extra departments. That's why I've been working on exams. The night before the exam I was having a lot of panic. Usually I was working so hard that I was sleeping for 3-4 hours.

Exams have always been stressful for students. Especially when the exams are quite important, you can feel very bad. There are many health and psychology problems due to stress.

What a student feels on the night before an Examination?

The Night Before An Examination : Examination is something that always evokes fear in our mind. It makes us feel nervous. As it approaches nearer our heart beats faster. We inevitably feel that our preparations are not sound. I experienced the same before my first board examination. It was my first public examination, and initially I was exited. My parents had lot of expectation, and I was sure that I would be performing quite well. But as days passed my excitements turned into fear and apprehension. On the evening before my English examination, I was quite restless. I could not decide what to read. My father, advised me to relax lest I would forget what I have studied. I went through the Texts first and then felt that I must practise some grammar. Soon I changed my mind and decided to read some suggestive paragraphs. When I started reading, I felt that I had almost forgotten them. I was at a fix. My tension was gaining heights. My mother offered me some tea so that I may energise me, but I was unwilling to take any drink. I thought my brain was jumbled up and feared that I might not be doing well the next day. However, my father again came to my rescue. He said that if I cram my head with newer ideas it may not be helpful. He also asked me to do some meditation. I followed his advise and felt better. I just browsed my study materials and took a light dinner thereafter. Before going to bed I prayed to help me in retaining my composure. I felt much better. I saw the news headlines in the television as a part of my routine, then put off the lights and went to bed. I knew that a sound sleep would relax my exited and agitated nerves. The earthly fears of my examination did not torment me anymore and I had a pretty good sleep at the night.

Thanks for reminding my old memory,

What a student feels on the night before an Examination?

It depends. If a student is well prepared and has studied the topics and practiced over a long period of time, the student may be able to become calm and relaxed knowing that he or she can answer the exam with confidence.

If the student knows he/she lacked in preparation, anxiety, doubts and worries will prevail. I have experienced this and for me this is true to life experience.

What a student feels on the night before an Examination?

It all comes with the preparation and the student's mindset. We all have different perspectives when taking examination. Attitude and mental toughness play a very important role into the feeling the night before taking an examination.

We really can't determine the general feeling of it because as I've said, it all depends on the student itself. But the most important factor that determine a student's feeling that can be generalize is the preparation and if he really understands the topic covered by the examination.

A lot of times I feel confident and excited when I take an exam but there were times that I feel nervous. I feel that way because I know I am not totally equipped with ideas. I don't have enough preparation for the examination.
