## Introduction

So it's not that often you find blockchain projects that truly excite you, especially in these times when the ​majority are not just copycats but outright scams. Today, I'll tell you about one exciting way to use the blockchain asides all the existing ones you already know. 

Imagine for a second that you owned a logistics company and you make deliveries on behalf of clients to their​ customers. There will be times when items will be reported missing, or there'll be claims of theft or other disputes regarding delivery of the items. Most times, these things will be very difficult to judge correctly as there are always a limited number of witnesses. 

One way to solve this could be to activate the tracking of items to at least try to monitor the movements from your warehouse to the customer. Some of the tracking services try to do this in real time which means both parties, you and the customer, can both monitor the progress of the item. Once the item gets to its destination, everyone involved can see this and be happy. 

The issues begin to arise when the inadequacies of the GPS, the tech powering most tracking services, start​ being exploited.
