# <center>Introduction</center>

Yesterday Wednesday 8/9/2021, I had one of the most fruitful meetings in my career as a Steem Promoter. Since my recent appointment as a Crypto Academy promoter, I have been planning on how to reach out to local community leaders in my technology industry. I studied Computer science. I have always had one lecturer in mind, in my Computer Science department. His name is Mr. Psalms kalu. I had lost his contact, but fortunately bumped into him 2 days ago. I took his contact and told him we have business to do. So he gave me appointment to come see him in his office on Wednesday. I went to see him. But before I go on, here is why I am excited about the opportunity.

# <center>Who is Mr. Psalms Kalu</center>
Back in my school days Computer Science Department, Abia State Polytechnic (2009 - 2014), Mr. Psalms was and is still is the best software development lecturer I had then. He is charismatic, cheerful and does a lot of coding. He is a master in Python, Java, Javascript, PHP, CSS, etc. He is also an expert in Web and Android development. Apart from his technical abilities in computing, he is a big-time community leader.

Mr. Psalms has thousands of students under him as a Senior lecturer. He also has thousands that have passed through his personal mentorship in various areas of IT through his company - [Ashpot Microsystems Ltd](https://ashpotmicrosystems.com/). He still runs active mentorship classes through his staff. Mr. Psalms is also a Pastor, heading his own church. His profile is really huge. He has many published books in various areas of computing and continues to do well in his job as a Senior lecturer in Computer Science department. Now you can see why meeting him was a huge opportunity for the Steem blockchain.

# <center>The result of my meeting with him</center>
I went to meet him at his office yesterday as scheduled at No 11 Nicholas Street Aba. We spent a better part of 2 hours discussing about Steemit. He asked lots and lots of questions. As an IT guru, he quickly signed up without any form of assistance. His username is @psalmskalu. We discussed at length about the possibility of setting up a programmer community on Steemit. He was clearly impressed with the Steem blockchain. We also spoke at length about the Crypto Academy and opportunities that exist for students to learn about cryptocurrencies and get rewarded well. He even has a computer programming school for kids. His IT training center is ultra-modern and located at the center of Aba town.

At the end, he asked for a little time to go through what we discussed and would start up withpout much delay. As a busy person, I would drop some reminders to him later so that he can follow up on the opportunity. Mr. Psalms is literally sitting on a crowd of IT students and experts. If he eventually decides to adopt the Steem blockchain - which am really optimistic he will, then it would open doors for a large number of users to follow.

# <center>Conclusion</center>

I cant wait to assist Mr. Psalms to start up publishing conteent and running projects on the Steem platform. He has lots of potential as tech community leader. Like I said earlier, I would remind him of our discussion and the need to follow up  immediately. If I finally succeed in making him stay and work actively on Steemit, then that would be a great breakthrough into a large community of tech and programming students.
