(성공의 미학) 속셈을 들키지 말라

일을 하는 방법이나 방식을 끊임없이 바꾸어 나가라 
그러면 주위의 사람 특히 라이벌은 그에 완전히 속아 넘어가 
호기심을 가지며 공경하는 마음까지 갖게 된다. 

언제나 본심대로 솔직하게 행동하면 
남에게 속아서 기선을 빼앗기고 따돌림을 당하고 만다. 
곧게만 날아가는 새는 총에 맞아 떨어지기 쉬우나 
이리저리 방향을 바꿔 날아다니는 새는 총에 잘 맞지 않는 법이다.
   
그렇다고 해서 매번 본심을 숨기고 행동하는 것도 좋지 않다. 
똑같은 행동을 두 번 하게 되면 속마음은 그대로 드러나 버린다. 

악의(惡意)는 기회만 있으면 덮치려고 
만반의 준비를 갖추고 호시탐탐 기다리고 있다. 
그런 만큼 속셈을 감추는 데에는 좀더 교묘한 방법을 쓰지 않으면 안 된다.
기회의 명수는 대국자(對局者)가 읽고 있는 수를 몇 수 앞서 보는 법이다. 
적의 의도대로 말을 몰아 가면 안 된다는 것은 두말 할 필요도 없다.
