Iron Man Experience - Hong Kong Disneyland's Stark Expo | Travel Shares

I was inactive for almost two weeks because of my usual trip to Hong Kong, which I do at least once or twice a year. I didn't have a proper internet connection this time around so I apologize for my inactivity. I wanted to be active, but I did a lot of things while I was there so I didn't really had enough time to be online.

This year, I came back to Disneyland for the third time to finally experience the newest section in Tomorrowland which is the Stark Expo. It is mostly an exhibition of Stark Industries fictional inventions and the Marvel Cinematic Universe's pocket draining merchandise.

The only ride in this new section was the Iron Man Experience which is a 4D ride that simulates the riders to soar through the skyscrapers in Hong Kong where in you are in a jet as J.A.R.V.I.S. trying to help out Iron Man defeat Hydra. This is one of the coolest new concept of a 4D ride that I have encountered now that I'm older. The suspense, the effects, and the graphics is just what I need as a movie nerd who appreciates experiences like this. It is a bit comparable to Universal Studios Singapore's Transformers ride only this was not a roller coaster and it relied on purely the hydraulics for the chairs.

Since this was the newest ride, the queue was the longest I did for the entire day. But the best thing about it was the queue area consisted of Stark Industry exhibit of their inventions which helped prepare riders to the story.

There was a main exhibit section called the Iron Man Tech Showcase but the queue would take just as long as the ride and it was meant for some photo sessions. I had to go to the new Star Wars section which I saved for last before the closing fireworks show so I didn't bother.

This time, I didn't took as many photos as I did like I was a kid. I was trying to "live in the moment" and not to document everything. I actually felt better that way. Looking forward for more future travels.
