In February of 2020, there was a great partnership between Tron and Steem which I would refer to as a marriage with several blessing but came with several troubles. In one of Justin Sun’s video meeting with Steemians, he talked about bring Steem and Tron into one another and ever since, I had been waiting for a day when the two coin will work on one course and here it is, Tron-Steem is now a reality. First, for the purpose of everyone and for those who are new to the blockchain, I will be explaining briefly about and Steem.

### TRON Blockchain
The Blockchain for decentralized internet, founded in 2017 by Justin Sun, is a blockchain platform with the goal of establishing a truly decentralized internet through a protocol that allows scalability, smart contract, and the ability to build Decentralized Application (DApps).

### STEEM Blockchain
The Steem Blockchain which powers Steemit as well as several Dapps built on the Steem blockchain was built to revolutionize the social media industry, bringing decentralization. Steemit and Tron had a partnership in February of 2020 which revived the vision of the platform and the blockchain taking it away from the helm of the previous tyrannical witnesses.

### The Steem-Tron Alliance
About a week ago, I saw a post from @spidemen post about the integration of Tron to Steemit and I decided to try it out on the testnet platform for steemit https://wallet.steemitdev.com/ and then I knew it was a new dawn for steemit.

The Tron and Steem partnership has from the beginning been a good deal for the platform, from the influx of Tron investors who invested a lot, to the increase in unity among users, easy communication with the team just as Tron and Dlive Users always finds it easy to talk with Justin Sun and many more. Tron was Steemit’s answered prayers in disguise but now it is visible.

### Easy explanation of Steem with Tron and more Onboarding
Steem is a popular coin but it has its laggings which as a result of its use case. Used in the blogging industry doesn’t give it a lot of awareness compared to Tron. Tron is a coin that is known in around the world and in my country (Nigeria), people know Tron just as the know BTC and ETH. Traders’ trade Tron’s futures contract, Tron is paired with fiat currencies including the Nigerian Naira (NGN) on Binance.

After the integration was done, I was talking to a friend about Steemit and he was not really sure he had heard of the name, after explaining the entire concept of Steemit and the Steem blockchain, I told him steemit now incentivize users with Tron. He immediately knew the name Tron and was able to say a lot about the coin. This is an example of what I am talking about.

### My Thought
Tron has a large network and very valuable investors who are willing to invest in it any of Tron’s project. Integrating Trx to Steemit is a good way to let them know that Steem and Tron are partners and thanks to the trust built on Tron, they can invest in Steem. Furthermore, onboarding users will be more fun as users now get paid in STEEM SBD and TRX and since Tron is a household name in the cryptocurrency world compared to a lot of coins, people will be able to relate.
