# Wood Pile With A Curve

On one of the two snowy days we had last winter, we visited Standen House, a National Trust property. Whilst walking through the woods I was able to take some lovely shots of wood piles. It was quire difficult to choose just one to enter into @kus-knee's #mundaneart challenge but in the end I decided to go for the one with a curve.

I added a second one, with a view, because I simply couldn't resist it. It won't be in the competition though so I hope I chose the right one to enter. &#128513;

Me too old-guy-photos. @kus-knee's mundane art is one of my favourite contests as you don't need a camera or exceptional photographic skills to do well. A bit of creativity goes a long way and that suits me fine! &#128522;

Nice wintry photos. And woodpiles surely qualify for a mundane art. The woodpile with a view looks like it might be used for a fire (though they pieces seem large), but the curved pile almost looks like a fence is going to be built.

Any idea on what either's intended purpose was, other than maybe just clearing some trees and branches?

I think the purpose was simply "clearing some trees and branches" @glenalbethsen. I imagine they well be used or sold as logs.

We will probably visit there again at some point so it would be fun to see if they've been  moved. The curved pile appeared to be stacked in a picnic area so I wouldn't expect to see them still there if we go back! &#128522;
