Mini Muxx Milestone Achieved

For her sixth birthday this past January, we bought our daughter Pixie a bike with stabilizers. She has steadily been getting used to using the brakes and trying to get her balance on it. At one point last month I started thinking the stabilizers were more of a hindrance as she still tipped over occasionally.

Recently she has started visiting with a school friend who could already ride a bike without the support and she has helped to teach our daughter to ride. So today we took a chance and I removed the stabilizers and let her have a go out the front of the house - our garden isn't the largest and doesn't really have the space to ride.

We are so proud of her, almost as much as she is proud of herself. Way to go Pixie. Now, of course, everywhere we go she wants to ride her bike...
