# Project Updates

These projects are continuously growing and expanding in both number and scope.

### SteemSilverGold Community Promotion and Representation

The highlighter continues to run daily using a variety of methods to pull and select quality content from within the #steemsilvergold community.  We aim to create the type of bot that can pull the best while remaining hardened to anything less than absolute quality.  Currently, we are looking into a way to ensure dtube and youtube videos get the love they deserve and are picked up.

### Veterans Community Project @Chairborne

Finally this much-anticipated initiative launched. @Chairborne, aka 'The Veterans Project', is indented to support military serving and retired members who are part or wish to be part of the Steemit community.  

- Curation of veteran tags and tag initiatives
- Curation of posts by veterans
- List of veteran accounts (our 'followed' list)
- 1 on 1 Steemit-related mentorship where requested
- Account creation options for verified veterans where requested
- Future discounts and promotions

The main list of veteran accounts is being kept in the 'Followed' section of @chairborne, which is also used to share updates and project-related posts. Thanks to @pfunk, veterans now have a #veterans channel on Steemit.chat which [can be found here](https://steemit.chat/channel/veterans). 

_**We need all the help we can get to make sure that this project reaches all the veterans out there and would appreciate your resteems and mentions.**_  This is a long-term project that will run slow and steady to ensure an excellence of service delivery. 

### Introduceyourself Tag Cleaning
This one is currently on pause until the SteemData node starts running.  The public node is behind too many blocks at the moment to be useable.  We're grateful for @furion's excellent contribution in creating it but we're not in the business of relying on his constant upkeep of the public node to maintain our projects.  

### Queries and Algorithms
We're continuing to assist other Steemit members with their own projects, be it by running queries for them or otherwise.
