The approx cost was wrong before then, all the sites said 1.57 but with a lot of hassle we did local tests in excel (not the most accurate I know) but still the actual cost came up at 1.67 buyin and then 420 000 per byte. But one day I will figure out how to do the math in js and see why the diff 🙈 ... I guess it is back to me posting comments and seeing what the new values are ... life suck viva life haha. 

Good work being on top of everything. I like to look at some of your code specifically the rc stuff and scream at my computer then go to sleep on my penis shaped cushion with tears in my eyes.

Hi @holger80! Recently I'm changing toward beem from official python library. Thank you for making and updating it. It has much more features supported. One question though, what was the main reason behind the fork? Who is mainly maintaining the official steem python library? probably nobody I guess :) I might have been better if you also update official library. I'm wondering if I should entirely move to beem or wait for updates on official library. Many thanks!

ps. Thanks for @steem-ua too. But please post some updates from time to time.

@holger80 -- note that steemd.com is using SP equivalents.

Example: `2,000,000,000 mana == 2,000 VESTS = ~1 SP`

Rather than add more units (mana or VESTS), steemd is now showing SP-analog units for the Vote and RC meters. For instance a user with 15 SP vote power has a recharge rate of 15M per 5 days.

The benefit to showing costs in SP units is that you know exactly how much you'd need to power up for a certain level of interaction w/ the chain.
